Grouping Form

Glee Choir

Choir allows students to develop their singing skills too as their appreciation for music. Bedroom Music

Performing in a chamber music ensemble is one of the virtually rewarding and enjoyable experiences for a musician. Students aggrandize their overall musicianship, technique, and performance skills. Ensembles comprise diverse combinations of instruments including piano, woodwinds, and strings. Groups range in size from two to half dozen performers.

Bedroom groups will exist coached by a teacher of our school. The coordinator will adjust the weekly coachings based on the schedules of the coaches and participants. The semester includes thirteen coachings, a master class, and a last performance.

Sleeping accommodation groups are formed based on matching the level, historic period, and skill of the musicians who perform a successful audition.

Ensemble

Guitar Ensemble

This course is designed for beginners and intermediate students on the guitar and it will cover the basics of the instrument and music fundamentals. Students volition learn fingerboard knowledge, music notation, bones techniques, and chords. During the classes, students volition also learn how to collaborate with each other while playing music. Therefore, this fun experience will certainly develop students' musicianship. The highlight of the course will be an optional performance by the end of the semester.

This course is taught by HBSM'south world-class guitar instructor, Dr. Hugo Nogueira.

Music Theory

This class is free for HBSM students.

We are going co-ordinate to the syllabus requirements of the Purple School of Music, London. The theory classes in result volition gear up students to pass ABRSM music theory exams.

For the very basic level, students learn to read music, and expression markings, and other simple noesis such as key and fourth dimension signatures.

More advanced levels teach theory of harmony and music history.

Rhythm and Solfege

This grade is free for HBSM students.

This course develops students' sight-singing skills using the traditional movable "do" method through drills in rhythm, interval, and pitch, also every bit singing exercises in major keys and minor in G (Treble) and F (Bass) clefs. This form includes some harmonic studies, part singing, and melodic and rhythmic dictation.
